纪律高压线 (jilv gaoyaxian): Discipline as a high-voltage cable

The discipline inspector pointed out that the Party's regulations should be stricter than the law. Enforcement of the regulations is the major task of discipline inspection authorities, as it may prevent officials and other Party members from making serious mistakes and violating the law. Anyone who breaks the Party's discipline will be strictly dealt with according to related regulations.

The discipline inspection authorities should strictly perform their duty by strengthening supervision over officials at all levels. The accountability mechanism should also be enhanced. Those who fail to discover or report problems should be punished due to their dereliction of duty or malfeasance.
