In the USA some would consider it discrimination, but I think it should be up to the company to decide who they want working for them. After all they do represent the business. I went in to a restaurant once and the waitress had several earrings of varying sizes and shapes and when she opened her mouth she had something hanging off the end of her tongue. I turned around and walked out.
