As an American, I'm neither surprised nor worried that China has surpassed the US in PPP. Also consider that with four times the population, the Chinese PPP/capita, which is the best measure of the average person's prosperity, there is still quite a gap. Nevertheless, I congratulate the Chinese people on the spectacular growth, and I hope it continues.
