BEIJING--The Olympic flag was lowered in the National Stadium in north Beijing on Sunday night, after International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge declared the Beijing Olympic Games closed.

Minutes earlier, the national flags of Greece, the country of the Games' birth and modern revival, and Britain, the Games' next host country, were hoisted.
