I got class A tickets for the preliminaries and the gold event for basketball......I am banking on USA taking the gold!!!!! See you Beijing August 14th thru the 26th.... I am deeply impressed with Eric Shanteau, the American swimmer, for his great courage to pursue his Olympic dream, and I want to give my sincere support to him. The glory of the Games not only belongs to those medalists but also to everyone who tries his/her best in the competition. Though Eric did not win the game, in my heart, he is the true hero of the Olympics, and he is the winner of life.

I felt very sad for Liu Xiang. Our bodies sometimes fail us even when our spirit and will want to fight on. Liu Xiang is not just an athlete, but a warrior willing to fight thru the pain and try to compete. He may not have a Beijing metal, but he carries within himself a heart of gold and the love of a billon plus nation of China. That's something that can never be taken away from him and should always be proud of. I am proud of him and hope for a speedy recovery, as I'm sure many other are thinking the same.
