BEIJING -- American Stephanie Brown Trafton won the women's discus throw gold at Beijing Olympic Games here on Monday.

The U.S. thrower won the gold with 64.74 meters. Cuba's Yarelys Barrios took the silver in 63.64 meters and Ukraine's Olena Antonova won the bronze in 62.59.
