Japanese legendary wrestler Saori Yoshida won the gold medal of wrestling Women's 55kg held at China Agricultural University Gymnasium during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on August 16, 2008.

Silver medal went to Chinese wrestler Xu Li.
