Dancers from the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe perform in Beijing on August 11, 2008. Founded in 1987, the unique troupe features a cast of more than 100 dancers and performers with physical disabilities, some who cannot hear and others who cannot see, including a vocalist with spina bifida. The group has performed worldwide since 2002 when it turned from amatuer to a non-profit and professional arts troupe, having travelled abroad 50 times to various countries across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
