Dear People of China,

I am an American lady in Florida, USA and in the past not one to be excited over the Olympics as I am not a Sports person but i have to write to tell you people so far away from me that Friday night 8/8/08 I could not keep my eyes off the television.

Your opening Ceremony just took my breath away. It was the most impressive event I have seen in years. You impressed beyond words and certainly the U.S.A. can take a lesson form this. Our entertainment in my Country is not as it once was. Yours was respectful, spectactular and clean. I give so much credt to you for a performance of grander for the world to enjoy.
