(August 3, 2008)
I've been so busy these days that I've barely had a chance to stand on the ground. Most of the time, I was on an airplane or bus to work. It's really hard, but seeing people's enthusiasm rising for the approaching Olympic Games made me feel more excited.
The Chinese gymnastics team officially began living in the Olympic Village on August 3. It means all the athletes entered an urgent state of preparation. All of them had the feeling of standing on an arrow pulled back and ready to shoot.
The following are the athletes training pictures I took in the gym two days ago. I hope all of you can see our heros' efforts, and let's cheer for China.
Introduction of Liu Xuan
Liu Xuan took up gymnastics as a primary school pupil in Changsha, Hunan Province in 1984. She was chosen by the Hunan provincial team at age eight and joined the national team at 13. Liu Xuan won a gold medal in balance beam in 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
