"Personally, I'm happy about the record, but nothing much has changed. I just have to remain focused and looking ahead for the Olympics."

At the moment, Bolt said he is still undecided about contesting both sprints in Beijing.

"I thought about doubling, but my coach believes it depends upon my training schedule."

He said a clearer picture would emerge after the June 27-29 Jamaican Championships in Kingston where he will meet Powell in the 100 for the first time.

Powell congratulated him after his achievement, Bolt said, "And said that I just made it harder for him."

Other expected highlights in Ostrava include world and Olympic 400m champion Jeremy Wariner's assault on the world best in the rarely run 300 metres. The mark is 30.85 secs set by his manager, the 200 and 400 metre world record holder Michael Johnson in 2000.

Croatia's world high jump champion Blanka Vlasic will be aiming for her 27th consecutive victory, and Sudanese teenager Abubaker Kaki Khamis will compete in the 800m, four days after his superb 1:42.69 victory in Oslo, the fastest performance in five years.
