Topic: British royal wedding

Prince William, who is second in line to the UK throne, will marry Kate Middleton on April 29. The extravagant ceremony, which will be broadcast live around the world, is receiving blanket coverage in the global media.

When I was young I made a vow that I would marry no one but Prince William. Now he's going to marry another girl. I didn't feel sad or anything when I read the news. Probably I belong to those who love the new but loathe the old, and time will help kill everything. Bless them anyway.

Prince William is finally going to tie the knot with his girl and Kate is going to realize her dream of becoming a beautiful princess. Yet, will they commit to each other and are they going to live a life like a fairytale and be happy ever after? I doubt it. Although every woman wishes she can be like Kate, every man dreams of having as many lovers as possible. William is no exception, I think.

I've been reading the news about the wedding of Prince William but my memory of the prince is still one of a boy who cried terribly at the funeral of Princess Diana (his mother). The boy in my memory is going to get married. How time flies.

Topic: Factory fire tragedy

A blaze on Monday at a four-story factory in Daxing district left 17 dead and 24 injured, mostly migrant workers. Windows of the building were blocked with iron bars, which were installed to ward off burglars but prevented people from escaping.

Now we are informed that the building did not have construction approval. How long has this building been there? Why did no government officials find the problem until the fire took so many lives? - "JIAXINGTIANJIAN" ON SINA; FOLLOWERS: 1,997

I hope the victims rest in peace and the survivors will be strong. A campaign is expected to change the (safety) situation, which is prevalent in the city's suburbs. Rents will certainly rise as a consequence and housing will be even more difficult for migrant workers to afford. More may have to leave the capital to find work. My deepest condolences to the families of those who were lost in the accident.

Illegal constructions (housing) migrant workers can be found everywhere and potential safety hazards can be detected in many buildings. The lives lost in the Daxing fire should sound the alarm bell.

Topic: Donation suspicion

Journalists recently questioned the motivation of Chen Guangbiao, one of China's most high-profile philanthropists, and cast suspicion on the actual amounts he donated following major disasters in China.

Imagine I claim that I gave a beggar 100 yuan but actually only gave him 10 yuan. It's called hypocrisy. A promise is a kind of contract. Our country should improve the donation system in relation to this aspect.

Chen grew from a nobody to a billionaire. It would be easier for him to chase material things and enjoys his wealth, but he chooses to contribute almost all of his life to charity work. Why should the public and the media question such a guy? Anyway, he has donated a fortune.

So-called charity projects that Chen has been involved in have been exposed to have a lot of problems. It is reported that some of the promised money is not donated. Also, Chen uses his reputation to develop his social network, which earns him more commercial contracts. It's really a good time to expose the truth.
