Pu'er signs cooperation agreement with Yunnan Food and Drug Administration

Government officials from Pu'er signed a cooperation agreement with the Yunnan Food and Drug Administration on Nov 16.

Wei Xing, the Party chief of Pu'er, attended the signing ceremony and expressed his thanks to the Yunnan Food and Drug Administration for its support in maintaining food safety standards.

"Food and drug safety is important to people's livelihood and the harmony of society," said Wei.

The cooperation between Pu'er and Yunnan Food and Drug Administration will play a significant role in establishing a comprehensive food and drug supervision system in the city. Part of the cooperation will be to ensure that healthy and organic food can be provided to customers.

Chen Hong, director of the Yunnan Food and Drug Administration, pledged his support for Pu'er’s food and drug safety work. The administration will also support and promote the city's biopharmaceutical industry.
