Shanghai leaders meet Pu’er delegates

Shanghai Party chief Han Zheng and Mayor Yang Xiong met with a Pu’er delegation led by secretary Wei Xing on Nov 9, Pu’er Daily reported.

Han Zheng noted that the two cities have close exchanges and deep friendship. He is impressed with the hardworking Pu’er people of different ethnicities, and said Shanghai will try to contribute more to Pu’er’s social and economic development..

Wei Xing thanked Shanghai for its longtime support and noted that Shanghai’s help promoted the economic development of Pu’er. He said that the Pu’er government will focus on infrastructure, industrial development, social stability and people’s livelihood to achieve greater development with the support from Shanghai.

Yin Hong, member of the standing committee of the Party’s Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shi Guanghui, vice mayor of Shanghai, and Pu’er municipal leaders attended the meeting.
