Pu’er signed a framework cooperation agreement with Shanghai’s Putuo district on Nov 3, the Pu’er daily reported.
"Pu’er and Putuo have a long history of friendship. I hope this visit will allow you to experience the tea culture of Pu’er and cooperate more with us," said Zhao Liantao, director of the publicity department of the Party’s Karamay Committee.
Wang Peng, director of the publicity department of the Party’s Putuo Committee, noted that despite geological distance and cultural differences, Puer and Putuo share the same vision of development and thus can increase understanding and cooperation in a wide range of areas.
Tong Shuwei, vice mayor of Karamay, hosted the signing ceremony.
