A delegation from Pu'er carried out an investment promotion activity in the cities of Shanghai and Hangzhou from July 26-29, according to Pu'er Daily.
Leading the delegation group in Hangzhou was Yang Ji, the director of the Pu'er organization department. The group visited enterprises in the Hangzhou Economic & Technological Development Area (HEDA). While there, Yang highlighted the untapped potential for promoting cooperation and expanding the market between the two cities. The mayor of Hangzhou, Zhang Hongming, introduced the city’s development status to the delegation.
A symposium was held to allow representatives from the two cities to discuss the further cooperation in areas such as talent training and talent dispatch.
The delegation group later visited Shanghai, where they discussed similar cooperation issues with local enterprises. During the visit to Shanghai, Yang introduced the development advantages and opportunities to local enterprises for cooperation with Pu'er.
