Pu'er city, Yunnan, held the third session of the Third Municipal People's Congress on Aug 4. Wei Xing, the city's Party chief, attended the conference and delivered a speech, according to Pu'er Daily.

Speaking at the conference, Wei stressed that Pu'er residents should be united as one to promote the city's economic development.

As the deputy Party chief of Pu'er city, Hu Kun said urged Party members to resist unhealthy ways and customs.
