A Pu'er culture show themed on the "World's Tea Resources" opened in Shanghai Yuyuan Garden on July 26 and will close on Aug 9.
"I didn't know that Pu'er had such vivid ethnic culture before I watched the show. I will definitely go and travel in Pu'er city sometime to get closer to its culture," said one visitor after watching the show in Shanghai.
Aside from the culture show, local products from Pu'er, such as Pu'er tea and coffee, will be available for purchase.
Li Jianfeng, the director of the Lancang county Culture Exhibition Hall, made a Pu'er tea cake – a flat round disc-shaped tea – during the show.
"We brought Pu'er culture to the big cities to let more people know about Pu'er city and Pu'er's Lancang county," said Li.
