Three staff members from the Pu'er Lvhai Institute of Forensic Sciences have obtained forensic appraiser certificates to enable them to carry out pollution forensics in the city, according to Pu'er Daily.

The trio will carry out environment forensic appraisals, which will include pollution appraisals and environment protection project appraisals, among others.

Pu'er Lvhai Institute of Forensic Sciences will cooperate with the Pu'er Research Institute of Environmental Sciences to better carry out pollution forensic appraisal work in the city.

To support the forensic work, 150 items of pollution analytical equipment have been introduced.

The pollution forensic work is expected to provide evidence and technical support for environmental pollution cases.
