Pu'er, located in the border area of southwestern China, is an oasis on the Tropic of Cancer. Biological and cultural diversity are the most vivid characteristics of the region. Moreover, forest coverage is as high as 68.7%. The whole city governs nine counties and one district, with a total population of 2.58 million and a total area of 45,000 square kilometers. It is here that the human homeland receives the most protection and care from nature. Tea is the soul of Pu'er and the color of green is its romantic charm. There in Pu'er tea lies the profoundness and calmness of this border city, while the lingering sweetness of Pu'er coffee gives it the poetic and romantic qualities for which it is noted.
