Tea prices in Jingdong county have reportedly bounced back recently, as prices of all grades of tea increased 4 yuan per kilo and the highest price reached 60 yuan per kilo in early spring.
The price of good quality tea is about 30 yuan per kilo and lower grades sell at between 18 to 28 yuan per kilo. In the market of Andi county, a tea farmer surnamed Li said that she recently made a profit of 1300 yuan with the sale of 45 kilos of tea at 29 yuan per kilo.
