A mountain called Shiceng Dashan is located at the junction of China, Laos and Vietnam and in 2005, the three countries built a Border Monument, which has three sides, each pointing to one of these countries, with its national emblem and inscriptions. Next to the monument, visitors can view the different sceneries in the three countries —heavy forest and cascading waterfall in China, stretchy grasslands and flocks and herds in Vietnam, and distinctive landscape sceneries in Laos.
