The Xima River Park is located in Simao district and is an ideal place for a romantic stroll.
Legend has it that Zhuge Liang, one of the greatest strategists of post-Han China, led an army here and soldiers then washed their horses in the river. Later, statues of Zhuge Liang and soldiers washing their horses were erected along Xima river, and the area was soon transformed into a park, which now boasts facilities including Chinese restaurants, tea houses, a skating rink and swimming pools.
