The Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone encourages enterprises to provide jobs for landless farmers and will provide a 1200-yuan ($192) subsidy from the administration for each farmer with a labor contract of more than a year when the contract expires.

In addition, any employer who provides job training for local farmers can get a subsidy of up to 300 yuan from the administration committee.
