The Party secretary of Kunming, Yunnan province, Jin Zhiwei, visited the Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone, on May 8, to get an understanding of its educational methods and its business invitation, urban and rural cleaning projects, and industrial facilitie

On hand to answer Jin's questions were Guo Song, the deputy head of management at the zone, and other management, business, and Party officials. This was followed by a supervisors' meeting, with reports on "mass line" educational activities for the Party, business, and urban and rural cleaning projects from the heads of the Majinpu street committee, the zone's management, and business promotion departments.

Jin also got a look at Aquatic Science Park and the achievements of the Kunming Cable Corp and the Yunnan Germanium.
