Early winter snowstorms of rare intensity blanketed Yunnan province on Monday. Although road and air travel have been seriously disrupted, on a more positive note, the rare snowfall has created some amazing scenery, especially at two of Yunnan's renowned tourist destinations, Kunming and Dali. Covered in snow, the two cities now look like they are wrapped in a silver veil.
