The administration service center of the Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, opened to the public on Feb 14, the first work day after the week-long Spring Festival holiday. Local government officials visited the center that day.
The officials included Party chief Xue Jihai and Chen Gang, director of the development zone. They encouraged civil servants to improve work efficiency and provide better service to the public in the New Year.
The administration service center is home to more than 20 local government departments and bureaus such as the bureaus of parks, education, and industry and commerce.
