The government of the Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, is operating a network platform to supervise state-owned assets, according to an annual meeting on Aug 14.
The meeting promoted the "Internet Plus" plan in state-owned enterprises, with participants discussing the feasibility of network platforms and information in state-owned enterprises.
"Internet Plus" was proposed by Chinese Premiere Li Keqiang earlier this year to connect the Internet to traditional sectors such as finance, manufacturing and logistics.
There are 35 state-owned enterprises Economic and Technological Development Zone with the total assets over 30 billion yuan ($4.69 billion).
The local state-owned assets supervision and administration commission started work on the supervising network platform in 2013, with 6.38 million yuan invested. The platform was completed earlier of 2015.
