The Shanghai Time-honored Brand Association recently sent a delegation to Karamay in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to seek cooperation opportunities, Karamay Daily reported.

The delegates from Shanghai met representatives of Karamay businesses in retail, real estate and the catering industry and studied the city's business development potential. They also brought several investment projects such as soap making, pharmaceuticals, and tourism souvenir development with a view of finding ideal partners in Karamay.

Fang Hong, a member of the Shanghai association, said after the visit that the delegates were impressed by the city's great potential and they all looked forward to enhancing exchanges and cooperation with local enterprises and introducing Shanghai time-honored brands to Karamay.
