The General Manager of Xinjiang Oilfield Company, Yang Xuewen, met with Zeng Ren, the president of Halliburton's China operations, on Nov 2.
The two sides conducted in-depth discussions regarding technological issues in the development of Karamay's oilfields in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
Zeng said that Halliburton had provided equipment and technology services to the oilfield companies for years and that the two companies have established a sound cooperation relationship. He also expressed his gratitude for the support of Xinjiang Oilfield Company.
In response, Yang expressed his hope for further cooperation with Halliburton and praised Halliburton's advanced technology and equipment, and efficient management model.
Founded in 1919, Halliburton is one of the world's largest providers of products and services in the energy industry. It has approximately 65,000 employees and represents 140 nationalities in over 80 countries. The company serves the upstream oil and gas industry throughout the lifecycle of the reservoir. This includes locating hydrocarbons and managing geological data, carrying out drilling and formation evaluations, constructing projects and optimizing production through the life of the field.
