A cultural industry promotion meeting was held on June 28 in Tianjin, providing an exchange platform for cultural enterprises and financial institutes in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Nine cultural programs including online scenic spots, China-made cartoon series, a traditional "Jing" embroidery industrial park and an intelligent online platform for traditional villages were promoted at the meeting.

The online scenic spot program focused on showing the ancient architecture, food and history of Tianjin through virtual reality technology and the AVR traditional village platform offered a method to promote 3D reconstruction of traditional village culture to promote tourism in these places and improve the local economy.

The promotion meeting was sponsored by the Tianjin Bureau of Culture, Radio, and Television and the government of Tianjin's Hedong district.

Another eight similar promotions were held in Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Lijiang, Chongqing and Xiamen and contributed to the local cultural industry's development.
