The licensing ceremony of Tianjin Medical Assistance Program hospitals was held by Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs in Tianjin Hospital on June, 14. During the ceremony, Wang Keping, deputy director of Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, awarded Tianjin Hospital and Tianjin Teda Hospital bronze medals for being the model hospitals of Tianjin Medical Assistance Program. Tianjin Hospital International Medical Center Director Wang Kai and two other professors afterwards gave a health lecture on how to prevent sports injuries and the emergency treatment for common sport injuries to foreign talents. The Tianjin Medical Assistance Program was targeted at foreigners since its launch in 2016, with Tianjin Hospital and Tianjin Teda Hospital being the first batch of its pilot hospitals. Over the past two years, the program has achieved positive results; two hospitals above already established a standardized medical system and a team with good language skills and professional competence, providing efficient and high-quality medical services for foreign talents in the city. In the next step, Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs will continue to attract more qualified hospitals to provide medical assistance services for foreign talents in Tianjin.
