Intelligent Challenge
The China Industrial APP Alliance and the Tianjin Industry and Information Technology Commission will co-organize the 2018 China (Tianjin) Industrial APP Innovation and Application Contest under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government. This is an effort to implement the guidelines laid out in the report of the 19th CPC national congress on the further integration of the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence with the real economy, follow up on the Opinion on Promoting an Internet + Advanced Manufacturing Developing Industrial Internet, speed up software development in industrial technologies, and facilitate industrial APP application.
The contest provides a free, open and innovative platform to meet the real needs of manufacturing upgrading and transformation, and brings into full play the role of businesses while building an ecology of industrial APPs. It will integrate resources of all stakeholders, put into application good industrial APPs, train capable APP developers, and select and support innovative industrial APP companies. The contest will help translate innovators’ creations into market profits so as to stimulate market vitality, promote good experiences and practices, and foster an enabling environment for industrial APP development. The contest has attracted well-known companies such as Haier, Tsinghua Unigroup, and Yonyou.
