Tianjin Updates
The Party secretary of Hexi district in Tianjin, Jia Fengshan, pointed out that Hexi district will focus on aviation, aerospace and high-end manufacturing industries to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing and military and civilian integration in Tianjin. It will also encourage the development of "three-no" organizations.
"Three-no" organizations means organizations which do not have an administrative establishment, levels and appropriations. For example, the Northern Research Institute of NJUST is an academy supported by Hexi that combines a university, a research institute, government and capital functions. Hexi would like to make it into a demonstration institution.
The Northern Research Institute of NJUST has taken advantage of military achievements of Nanjing University of Science and Technology to establish a laser industry chain.
Tianjin Rui Sheng First Laser Technology was founded in December 2015 as a producer of high power fiber lasers.
The institute has also established Tianjin Ruisheng Huineng Science and Technology which introduced all-solid-state thin film lithium batteries at the advanced international level.
The district will continue to insist on cultivating the development of entrepreneurs and their enterprises.
