Tianjin held an activity to increase knowledge about artificial intelligence (AI) on April 11 at Tianjin No.7 High School. AI will soon be put into schools in Hedong district.

AI was included in the government work report in March 2017. In July, development of AI became a national strategy. Then, in January 2018 AI, the IoT (Internet of Things) and big data processing were included in the New Curricular Standard. At the 2018 Two Sessions, AI was included in the government work report.

Hexi district Education Bureau signed a cooperation contract with iFYTEK for "AI + education" to promote the development of educational informationization.

AI+education will help teachers analyze students' personalized questions to improve teaching and learning effectiveness.

In the next two months, iFYTEK will build an AI laboratory in Tianjin No.7 High School to provide AI services. Then, Hedong district will also introduce AR and CR into classes.
