It is the first time for Li Gang to be a NPC deputy. He cares about the reform of mixed ownership of State-owned enterprises, the craftsman's spirit and the treatment of migrant workers.

Li pointed out the importance of innovation. He led his team in completing over 100 technological innovations, and has been designated one of the first model workers in Tianjin. It demarks him as a leader on the path of innovation.

The 2018 government work report emphasizes "craftsman's spirit"; Li thinks that craftsman's spirit is the spirit of keeping improving and keeping pace with the times.

With reference to the reform of mixed ownership of State-owned enterprises, Li thinks that it is necessary under the present circumstances. The private economy will integrate with State-owned enterprises and make them more vigorous and competitive. Meanwhile, the State-owned enterprises themselves also need knowledgeable, innovative talents to open high-quality markets.

Li Gang also is the vice president of the Tianjin Municipal Trade Union. He cares about the treatment of migrant workers.

To benefit people, the Tianjin Trade Union has launched free health examinations for 2018. A WeChat account introducing the policies and activities of the union will be opened by the end of this year.
