The Binhai--Zhongguancun Technology Park was founded on Nov 22, 2016 to further advance coordinated development plan of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Within one year, the park has established an industrial ecology where innovation-driven medium small and micro-sized enterprises coordinate.
The park has welcomed more than 300 registered enterprises with total registered capital of 4.9 billion yuan ($741 million), creating an industrial cluster effect.
The park integrates the innovation power of Zhongguancun, a technology hub in Beijing, with the top notch supporting services of Binhai District, a State-level new area in Tianjin, and has become a highland of innovation resources.

The park applies the preferential policies of both Beijing and Tianjin such as providing apartments for white-collar workers and improving talent introduction mechanisms.
Meanwhile, the park through its management committee has completed an effective mechanism for coordination of industrial chains, innovation and operations.
Currently, a group of innovation programs and innovation incubating platforms with long-term potential have expressed interest in the park and a development model featuring industrial control system information security, big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things is forming.
Baidu, an Internet giant in China, has located one of its innovation centers in the park which was put into operation on Dec 5. It focuses on attracting more innovation-driven enterprises able to make further advances in AI.
Next, the park will establish industrial development supporting funds in science and technology innovation, industry promotion, talent introduction and investment attraction.
In general, it will continue to carry out suitable policies and development plans to reach a higher level.
