On Oct 20, Tianjin Delegate Wei Qiuyue shared her views on the report delivered at the opening session of the 19th CPC National Congress and talked about her dreams as a Chinese volleyball player.

She said she had expected to contribute to her country ever since she was selected to be a national player.

The principle "Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished" has encouraged her to overcome hardships in the past.

"For me, volleyball is more than just sport. It is about unity, self-motivation, persistence and never giving up, and I will pass the spirit on," Wei stressed.
