More than 100 foreign and domestic media workers toured Tianjin on Oct 17. All of them were impressed by the changes in China, whether on the Beijing-Tianjin inter-city trains, in the museums, at Sino-Singapore Eco-city, or in the central business district.

A reporter from SinoVision Inc. said it was her first time to come to China, and she couldn't have imagined the speed of the trains.

The visitors watched as intelligent robots sorted out parcels systematically at Tianjin Shentong Express with an efficiency four times greater than that of manual operation.

A reporter from CGTN-Español said she'd file a report on the innovative sorting method of Shentong Express as a reference for other countries and related businesses.

Some of the media workers came from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative routes, about which they expressed great interest.

Pei Zenan, a reporter from Israel expressed his feeling about Tianjin. It was not possible before to see Chinese-made buses in Israel, but with the advance of the Belt and Road construction Chinese enterprises have undertaken lots of Israeli transportation projects, demonstrating China's growing influence and power.

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the construction of the Binhai New Area, a free trade zone and the National Independent Innovative Demonstration Zone were all implemented in Tianjin.
