A Chinese declaiming competition was held in Tianjin Normal University on March 30, which was intended to better promote traditional Chinese culture at colleges and universities.

During the contest, more than 40 participants from 11 countries declaimed 18 Chinese literature classics.

Declaiming is the performance art of passionately reading and interpreting text.
