A cloud data center was recently completed at the High-tech Zone in Tianjin to improve the efficiency and comprehensive service level of the local government.

According to a staff member, the center features more than 50 service machines, covering 191 square meters, and more than a half of the machines have been put into use.

Meanwhile, three separated cloud platforms are constructed was part of an intranet, an outer network, and a private network to realize information exchange and resources sharing among departments.

To date, two systems -- an emergency command system and a video conference system -- has been used and more application systems to connect the High-tech Zone and other areas in the city will be built at the data center in the near future to help construct an informational Tianjin.
