Four million foreign tourists visit Tianjin on National Day holiday

The National Day Holiday of China came to an end on October 7.

According to the Tianjin Statistic Bureau, during the seven-day holiday, about 8.1 million tourists from home and abroad visited Tianjin, a year-on-year growth of 5.5 percent. The number of foreign visitors reached nearly four million, a year-on-year growth of 12.5 percent.

The income from tourism in Tianjin was about 7.7 billion yuan ($1.15 billion), an increase of 12.8 percent.
