A symposium on trade and investment among China, Russia and Mongolia was recently held at Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia.

More than ten affiliated enterprises of the BENEFO Corporation （A Tianjian machinery company affiliated to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Tianjin Municiple People's Government.) at Tianjin joined in the event, concluding contracts valued at about nine million yuan ($1.4 million).

The symposium aimed to promote the Belt and Road Initiative.and to further implement the construction of the China-Russia-Mongolia economic corridor.

Luo Jun, deputy mayor of Manzhouli, said the symposium reflects the BENEFO corporation's eagerness to open the Russian market. He also hoped that through the event participants will cooperate towards collectively beneficial development and exchange.

The event was sponsored by Tianjin International Machinery Co., Ltd and the Tianjin Council for International Investment Promotion.

The BENEFO Corporation focuses on electrical engineering and apparatus, machine tools, transportation and machinery equipment and has developed supporting businesses such as financial leasing, import and export trade and an industrial products supply chain.
