A Green Expo Park in the Wuqing district of Tianjin is again available to the public, for May 1 after undergoing infrastructure improvements, local authorities say, adding that there will be a dragon dance ceremony for the reopening in the park's central square and a thrilling water trapeze performance.

The refurbished park now has several water sports items added, where visitors can experience the delight of sailboarding and canoeing in the south lake.

In commenting on the changes, a park official, Wang Kai, says, "We'll be presenting a brand new green park to the public, thanks to the upgrades that have taken place since last winter and we will continue to improve the facilities and services to ensure a pleasant scenic area for visitors."
