Tianjin college students launch delivery App
| Updated: 2016-03-14 15:53:17 | (chinadaily.com.cn) |

A group of college students from Tianjin started a mobile application to send and receive express deliveries on campus, reported the Bohai Morning Post on March, 13.

Young people, especially college students, are frequent online shoppers in China. However, some find it troublesome to walk across the campus to get their deliveries at the school gate.

To offer a solution, Wang Wanlin from Tianshi College and her high school friend, Guo Zhenting, at the Tianjin Polytechnic University, started the delivery App, Kuaiqula, which means “fast delivery” in Sept, 2015.

Guo was responsible for writing the code and Wang, who has some experience in setting up businesses, worked on the marketing.

Wang said that the App is easy: when one student orders a delivery, other students offer to run the errand to earn some money.

With some universities in Tianjin, dormitories on campus are far from the distribution sites of express deliveries. It is convenient for students who are on their way back to school, to get the deliveries.

So far, over 20,000 users from more than ten colleges in Tianjin have signed on to the App with nearly 1,000 deliveries each day.
