The Third Helicopter Expo in Tianjin will include unmanned aircraft for the first time, according to the expo’s administrative commission. Dozens of local unmanned aircraft enterprises will be on display, and a special gaming area will be open to residents.

China Focus Air Technology Company is a local unmanned aircraft manufacturer. This is the second year for the company to exhibit at the helicopter expo. Dou Cheng, manger of the company’s innovation department, says that the company will exhibit many types of unmanned aircraft used to fight against tourism, monitor security, and thosed for surveying and mapping.

The company regards the expo as an opportunity to demonstrate unmanned aircraft and communicate with global manufacturers. The company has continuously explored industrial applications and has achieved results in research and development, design, manufacturing, sales, maintenance, repair, detection, and pilot training areas, according to Dou. In the outdoor exhibition area, a yellow helicopter attracted visitors’ attention. The helicopter was manufactured by Tianjin Tuohang Company, the only private general aviation enterprise in Tianjin. General Manger Dou Ruchao said that this helicopter can not only fly but also take part in in medical rescues.

The helicopter participated in an emergency rescue exercise at the Airport Branch Hospital of the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital a couple of days earlier. The “red cross” on the helicopter makes it stand out from other exhibits.

Apart from flight performances, the expo prepared games for children in the second pavilion. Children are educated about aircraft through drawing and other activities.
