The Airbus China Company announced an agreement with Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone and Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) on a delivery center for Airbus 330 aircraft in Tianjin.

This is another important cooperation among the three parties after the establishment of the Airbus 320 assembly line and delivery center in Tianjin. It will play an important role in the development of Airbus Group's partnership with China.

The new agreement is an official confirmation for the delivery center of Airbus 330 aircraft, proposed by the three parties a year earlier.

Fabrice Bregier, president and chief executive officer of Airbus Group, said the agreement on the establishment of deliver center of A330 aircrafts in Tianjin starts a new page of the company's strategic cooperation with China in the wide-body aircraft industry. The establishment of the delivery center will also bring more opportunities for both sides' cooperation in the wide-body aircraft industry.

The delivery center will be established in the area close to the assembly line of Airbus 320 aircrafts and will be in charge of work such as aircraft reception, passenger cabin installation, aircraft body painting, engine checking, and flight testing. The delivery center will also be responsible for aircraft delivery and client reception.

Aircraft assembled in Toulouse, France that have not been painted or installed with passenger cabins will fly to Tianjin to be completed in the city's new delivery center.
