Question Nine – Is Tianjin FTZ a place for shopping?

The European Shopping Center in the Tianjin Airport area has been launched earlier this year. Tens of thousands of in season products from luxury brands were shipped directly around the world.

Visitors can also find Yansha Outlet Stores close to the area. The SM Shopping Center, the largest single body shopping mall in the world, will open soon. Many wine direct sales centers are based in Tianjin Port. In addition, the cruise home port has many duty free stores.

The Tianjin ports are the largest automobile importing ports in the country, responsible for 40 percent of the entire automobile import of China. The automobile park in the Tianjin Airport area is a famous automobile market place. The Tianjin FTZ is exploring preferential policies in the Shanghai Pilot FTZ and plans to copy the model in Tianjin.
