Tianjin selected as a most attractive city in the eyes of foreigners

Tianjin has been selected as one of "the top 10 most attractive Chinese cities in the eyes of foreigners" for five consecutive years, according to the Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.

Tianjin led other domestic cities in the following five aspects – medication, social civilization, administrative management, talent attraction and employment, and globalization and multi-cultural atmosphere.

Held by the China Society for Research on International Professional Personnel Exchange and Development and International Talents, a total of nearly 20,000 foreigners selected the winning cities from 30 nominees in 18 aspects, including policy, governmental affairs, working environment and living environment.

Tianjin has organized and held a series of events featuring foreign culture and global talent in recent years to present Tianjin's recent development, history, culture and local customs. Through these characteristic events, more and more foreigners have begun to focus on and merge into the city.

Such events include the "Expats' Tianjin Trip", "Global Talents Networking", "Foreign Experts' China Day" and "Tianjin in the Eyes of Foreigners" activities.
