Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei provinces are starting to construct an intercity high-speed train network in 2015. The coming decade is going to be witness to a great investment in intercity trains, largely dominated by each province.

This growth in infrastructure will bring huge opportunity for manufacturers in finished vehicles and vehicle components as well as parts industries, according to professionals.

Focusing on the integrated transportation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, Beijing is going to play the lead role in driving the transportation connections among the three places.

The city will also be researching in order to eventually solve the problem of transportation distribution and efficient connections among intercity high speed train networks, urban subway networks, highway networks, and national and provincial highway networks.

The expectation is for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area to establish a transportation network including intercity high speed trains and urban subways and trains. This network will reflect the current and newly established intercity railway transportation network in the Pearl River Delta area, according to a government official.
